The developer is expected to have at least 5 years minimum paid work experience. You must provide working knowledge of your contributions and why you made those choices. You are expected to understand agile development and be able to handle multiple projects sometimes simultaneously. You will initially be tasked to refactor/re-architect existing solutions, as well as write tests for our Rails dashboard so you need to be a full stack developer. Knowing how to write SQL queries is important as well.
The developer is required to learn our Rails dashboard codebase, provide feedback on improvements as well as new ideas. We want someone who enjoys being challenged and can contribute.
We are not looking for a 'rockstar' or 'ninja' to come in are re-architect things and use whatever shiny widget that is all the rage. Just need someone who is stable mentally, has a sense of humor and uses it and enjoys degrading their team members.
