Groups Recover Together is an outpatient addiction medicine provider that delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Based on the principle that recovery is tied to aspects of life that are beyond the reach of an office visit, our care model includes three core modalities that are proven to help individuals get their lives back on track -- medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. We pride ourselves in providing high quality clinical treatment and team-based support needed to build a life worth living sober.
The Senior Software Engineer position will be part of the team responsible for the design and development of the Groups Digital Platform. This will include following and enforcing proper architectural and coding standards. This person will work very closely with both the product management and quality assurance teams. This position is fully remote, within the United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop applications in accordance with established organizational standards
- Work closely with both the lead software engineer and the product management team to build a quality product
- Work with the quality assurance team in the building of appropriate automated tests
- Provide feedback on any quality / tech debt issues discovered within the product
- Participate in all Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Develop applications that allow for CI/CD
- Several years of experience in the design and development of Ruby / Ruby on Rails applications
- Experience with the development of mobile applications using React Native
- Several years of experience designing applications using standard architectural patterns
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
