Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, Javascript, Ember.js, jQuery, React

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our development team on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ruby on Rails, microservice architecture, and Restful API, and be able to write clean and maintainable code.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Javascript.
• Strong experience in TDD approach.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work during EST business hours.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Ember.js, jQuery, and React.
• Extensive experience with microservice architecture and RESTful API design.

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• 3+ years of experience in Javascript development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Candidate Region:

• Worldwide, including Eastern Europe and Western Asia countries.
• Hourly Rate: 20 - 25 USD/hr
