ITAC is assisting a rapidly growing Birmingham based client in their search for a (remote) Senior Ruby on Rails Developer!

The company leaders are searching for a Remote RoR Developer who is a continuous learner and someone who has a proven track record for developing innovative product solutions in a client facing environment.

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

• Continue to build and deploy the next generation of our platform and products, while providing an immediate customer-facing positive impact.
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing to develop and iterate on both large new features and daily small product enhancements.
• Detail orientation with strong analytical and mathematical skills are essential.
• Effective project management skills and the ability to remain focused and organized given multiple priorities is essential. This includes the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure and with tight deadlines, and work independently toward objectives.
• Seek to continuously learn and grow, as a programmer and person, with a passion for software design (UX) best practices.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills is required.

What you'll need to be considered (requirements):

• 2-4 + years of proven-experience using Ruby on Rails
• Experience with the Rubygem Package Ecosystem, Bootstrap 4, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Knowledge of API Design, Version Control Workflows, GIT, Testing, and someone who cares deeply about user-centric product development.
• Experience with WCAG 2.0, Elasticsearch and Containerization Strategy would be a Big Plus!
• Interest in helping create a product-driven environment and excited to be a part of building an inclusive culture.
• Must be a strong cross-team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a deep knowledge of web technologies and application architecture.
