Kforce is seeking a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer for a 100% contract-to-hire position for a fintech series B start up that supports housing affordability and financial freedom for renters. We are looking to hire the right fit and flexible on the level of software engineering experience (Junior to Senior), but this is an individual contributor position doing hands-on coding on a scrum team. While 100% remote, core working hours are 9-6pm EST.
Overview:
This role is end-to-end software engineering and is involved in design, development, testing and troubleshooting a monolithic web application. This role is also full stack with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails development, but also involve frontend development with React.
The Ruby on Rails Software Engineer will have the opportunity to build and improve features for a growing start-up, have a voice to make an impact on features and suggest solutions, advocate for excellent coding practices as well as user experience, participate in code reviews, mentor others, and collaborate cross functionally with product, sales, marketing, and compliance in an agile environment.
