You are an experienced software developer with an interest in data, finance, or cryptocurrency. You're excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where there are always new projects and challenges. In addition to main responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to learn different functional areas of the business working side-by-side with the founders and business partners.

Location: Austin, TX (remote within North America possible)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the technical co-founder to build and maintain new and existing web applications
• Assist with designing and managing AWS infrastructure
• Work with product team to implement new designs and improve products from customer feedback
• Review and approve code by development team

What you Need to Have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a must
• Experience with Vue.js is preferred
• Experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure (RDS/EC2)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience web scraping and interacting with third party APIs are nice to haves
• A strong understanding and interest in finance, cryptocurrency, or data is a plus
• A creative and entrepreneurial mindset. You're self-driven and will be able to work in both a team environment and work independently
• Comfort owning an entire codebase (back-end/front-end/infrastructure)
• The versatility and interest to learn new technologies and skills on the job
