Are you a strong RoR developer looking for a rewarding, high-impact leadership role with a growing Fintech? Interested in contributing to the evolution of a small company's code base as well as its engineering culture?
This is a unique opportunity to lead a Ruby on Rails development team and help take an existing company (3 yrs old w/30+ people) with a practical offering, proven model, revenue and funding to the next level. Excellent benefits package includes 4 weeks PTO, edu allowance, and equity.
To be effective in the Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer role, you'll need a background that includes:
7+ years professional full-stack web development
3+ years Rails / RoR / Ruby on Rails, plus experience with React / React.js / Reactjs
2+ years experience as a tech lead / lead engineer / lead developer
Experience developing systems that handle financial transactions
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices
Strong knowledge of software engineering / web development best practices
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Entrepreneurial disposition… thinker, problem solver, learner
Strong desire to help other engineers to achieve their best, a mentor
BSCS or related degree, MSCS preferred
Compensation:
Salary in the range of $150,000 - $180,000 + equity and benefits (health, dental, vision, edu reimbursement, 4 weeks PTO + paid holidays)
