Description:

CD Baby is hiring Rails Rock Stars for very high-profile, well-paying music projects.

We've got some great projects lined up for the CD Baby family of musician services. All Rails-based. Most of them public-facing and high-profile.

We are hiring a few best-of-the-best Rails programmers ("Rails Rock Stars") and are prepared to pay very well.

You'll be working along-side Jeremy Kemper (aka bitsweat), Rails core committer, and reporting directly to Derek Sivers, president of CD Baby.

Though we're based in Portland Oregon, you don't have to be. You don't have to be in the U.S., either.

These are fast-momentum quick projects, intended for quick launch then ongoing improvements.

To apply, just email us three things:

#1 - a zip/tgz of some Rails code you're proud of
#2 - your specialties : tell us what excites you the most
#3 - your history of self-driven completed projects

Email : rockstars@cdbaby.com

Don't apply without attaching code. Anything submitted will be kept absolutely private. ONLY Derek Sivers and Jeremy Kemper will ever see it, and will delete it immediately afterwards.

Money will only be discussed after we're impressed with your code.

ABOUT CD BABY:
The largest seller of independent CDs, with over 100,000 musicians and $35M in sales. CD Baby was one of the first big companies to announce their switch to Rails back in December 2004. See http://cdbaby.com and http://hostbaby.com
