UI/UX Genius with Ruby Knowledge to be our Lead User Interface Developer in Europe (€60,000)

1000jobboersen.de is an exciting young start-up shaking up the job market in Germany. We are based in the very cool Kreuzberg area of Berlin (http://berlin.unlike.net/). Although we are a start-up, we have been running for over a year now and are making real revenues. Our application uses some of the latest technologies and APIs including Rails 3, MongoDB, Cucumber / Capybara, Heroku, MongoHQ, HAML, SASS, Compass framework.

We are currently looking to expand our development team again. We would like to hire a UX/UI genius who believes in progressive enhancement, not graceful degradation, and is passionate about delivering amazing, usable user interfaces.

What we are looking for

Expert in modelling simple user interfaces for complex processes
Excellent prototyping/mocking up with Photoshop/Illustrator
Understanding of Ruby on Rails, and preferably HAML and SASS
Understanding of web accessibility
Understanding of semantic markup
Knows how to produce cross browser compatible code
A “can do” attitude
Self-motivation, maybe you even have your own side projects or blog
Desire to work within an agile test driven environment
Good team player with excellent communication and social skills
