Senior Ruby Developer Needed for Agile, Well Funded Startup in Europe (€70,000 - €78,000)

1000jobboersen.de is an exciting young start-up shaking up the job market in Germany. We are based in the very cool Kreuzberg area of Berlin (http://berlin.unlike.net/). Although we are a start-up, we have been running for over a year now and are making real revenues. Our application uses some of the latest technologies and APIs including Rails 3, MongoDB, Cucumber / Capybara, Heroku and MongoHQ.

We are currently looking to expand our development team again. We would like to hire an expert level Ruby Developer. Ideally someone who is very active in the Ruby community, and passionate about what they do.

You always like to keep abreast of technology, and like to play with the latest APIs
Self-motivation, maybe you even have your own side projects or blog
Good problem solving
Experience working within agile test driven environments
Experience with Scrum

Strong ruby skills, our app is non-trivial
Strong testing skills with test unit and cucumber
Javascript
Experience working with APIs and web services.
Strong knowledge of Git
Motivated / Passionate about coding
Several years experience building MVC applications
Excellent analytical thinking and enthusiasm for solving complex problems
Completely fluent English speaker

Experience with complex pricing mechanisms and ordering processes is a huge plus
Experience building APIs
Haml / Sass
MongoDB (and mongoid or mongomapper)
Familiarity with Scrum
Experience pair programming
Native English speaker (this is a big plus)
