LiveText, a Chicago-based educational technology and consulting company, is looking for Software Engineers to add to its growing development team. The best candidate for this position has experience with design preparation and presentation, code development, documentation preparation, web development, unit testing, and software debugging.

Education
•BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred

Required Skills:

Skills
•Experience developing in Perl, Java, PHP, Python, or Ruby
•Experience working with JavaScript/HTML/CSS
•Knowledge of Prototype JS, jQuery, or other Javascript Frameworks.
•Experienced in MySQL
Desired skills:

Minimum Qualifications:
•Basic understanding of software development techniques and practices
•Working knowledge of software support products suck as text editors, debugger, or email
•Excellent verbal and written communication
