| Description: | We are seeking an Agile Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts in our Operations Technology group. As as the QA engineer, you will work hand-in-hand with the development team and stakeholders, performing QA testing within each development iteration, and be responsible for designing and executing a QA process that fits within our overall agile life-cycle. Additionally, you will participate in requirements collection with the development team and stakeholders, and be responsible for verifiable user acceptance criteria of our user stories. This is a social role as much as it is a technical one, and you will often find yourself embedded with developers and stakeholders. |
| Required Skills: | - Strong technical foundation including a BS in Computer Science or related field - Minimum of 5 years successful experience in engineering or Quality Assurance in agile development environments - Sincere passion for delivering the highest quality software products - Unix and/or Mac OS experience; and a diverse, mental toolbox of Unix utilities and scripting languages - Experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails and FireFox for business users - Experience scripting tests and using automated testing tools, to include open source Web UI testing tools - Strong interpersonal skills - Experience in managing or leading small-to-mid-sized teams - Experience as a lead or sole member of a software testing effort where the development of policy, procedure and tools was within your scope - References who can attest to your professional history of assuming full of ownership of Quality Assurance efforts and customer satisfaction |
