We are looking for several highly talented rails developers to help build and optimize a state-of-the-art, integrated telco/web app that already has high-traffic, and that runs in the cloud. You will join a fully-distributed, agile team, based in the US, and including developers from around the world.
Your colleagues will also be highly talented developers. The work environment is fast-moving, with no red-tape. Integrated web/telco apps have very demanding performance requirements, and if you can build one of these, you can probably build anything.
You will have opportunity to work with other Assembla clients and on Assembla.com itself.

Required Skills: |
* Talented Rails programmer. This is the most important qualification. Other nice-to-have skills would be flex and/or ccxml.
* Experience designing, building and operating your own web app
* Experience building web applications for other companies
* Good written English skills
This is a telecommuting job. You can be located anywhere in the world, and you must be equipped with your own computer and networking. Your hours will be flexible, and we can do a part time trial. However, if we decide to work together, we are looking for a full-time commitment of 3-6 months, minimum.
