Lead Developer/CTO/Co-founder

WeGoWeGo is a semantic search platform for nightlife and cultural events. We launched in Toronto in Aug 2009.

Here are some highlights from the past few months:

* We had over 10,000 unique visitors come to the site since the launch in August (95% organic)
* We have tripled our monthly visitors traffic
* We hit 1200 daily page views just before year-end
* We completed a research study with the Humber College PR Program that helped us shape the next phase of WeGoWeGo.com.

We are seeking a Lead Developer (CTO) but most importantly a partner who will take the working BETA (http://wegowego.com) and help us launch it within North America within the next 12 months.

We have proven the site works in Toronto, so we know it will work anywhere. The site is a fully scalable search platform that supports multiple regions. When we build the right team we will seek funding!

We need you to find innovative ways to help integrate further with the Facebook Connect, automate data acquisition (including API integration from multiple sources), auto-tagging of content and help develop an external data dissemination strategy using APIs, widgets etc.

This is not a salary position and no compensation can be provided at this time so we understand you may need a day job as well. Your involvement and share is negotiable.

- You are a Guru RoR, (Rails) developer
- You have solid experience in Linux, Mysql, NGINX (Engine X)+Mongrel
- Solid experience developing dynamic, interactive, data-driven websites
- In-depth knowledge of technologies: AJAX, SGI Scrip languages
- Well versed in Facebook Connect integration work and

- Experience in integrating and developing APIs
- Mobile Platform(s) app development
