Senior Web Developer/Product Innovator

Kowabunga, a performance-based online advertising company, is searching for a passionate Senior Web Developer/Product Innovator to be a part of a New Product Development Team! This is a great opportunity for a senior level developer strong in Javascript/CSS, Ruby/Rails, and PHP to be an integral part of the development of our new product launches. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about software development in an agile entrepreneurial environment and enjoys being a part of a team responsible for incubating new business models and products. Some of the forthcoming New Products will range from social networking, mobile applications, and international projects. These products will be built around our Core Online Advertising Platform.

Position Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Design and Development
• Design and develop new features and products for the Kowabunga Online Advertising Platform.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Product Teams to implement new ideas and prototype projects quickly and effectively.
• Provide critical feedback to the development and architecture of Kowabunga’s core technology platforms and API’s.
• Work-in conjunction with marketing, product management, quality assurance, and our core development team to meet deadlines and exceed in expectations.

Requirements

Personal and Interpersonal Competencies:
• Expert level Javascript/HTML/CSS a must!
• Expert programming skills in Ruby/Rails, PHP, JQuery
• Experience with MySQL, SQL Server
• Experience working with Large Data Sets and Analytics
• Linux/Unix experience.

Experience building mobile applications around iPhone, Android, etc. a plus.
• Previous experience in Online Marketing or Advertising a plus.
