Required Skills: |
What you need to demonstrate:
* 2+ years solid experience developing Ruby on Rails applications
* Minimum 5 years track record of successful large scale web application development and implementation.
* Disciplined approach to software development, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodology.
* Experience with testing frameworks, including Rspec, Test::Unit, and QUnit.
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and MySQL
* Experience with jQuery, Prototype, and YUI.
* Aggressive at refactoring / rewriting old code for efficiency and scalability.
* Working hard is ok; having fun doing it is even more ok.
* BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

* Understanding of MySql tuning and optimization techniques.
