| Description: | Do you want to be part of the next great Ruby on Rails startup? Are you excited about the power and flexibility of RoR and want an opportunity to make a some serious bling? We have assembled a team of professionals with proven track records to build a web site that can only be described as Web 2.0 (yes, we dislike this term too) -- serving a niche market that has yet to be cornered online. We predict very rapid penetration across the market, with success following less than 1-3 months after site launch. Here is a short list of functionality that will give you an idea of the direction we are thinking: - social network capabilities
We guarantee that this site will quickly dominate its market and be used by every early adopter out there and rapidly expand to serve a need that is currently unmet. Our team consists of well-respected individuals with proven track records in the following markets: blogs and blogosphere, RSS and information aggregation, biz-dev, marketing and sales. This is a strong team. What we are missing is a strong back-end developer who fully understands Ruby on Rails, and we hope that person is you. We are working under an equity-share model. The back-end developer will receive between 5-20% of the project's equity once it has been monetized, which should happen within 4-6 months (or less) from launch. We are excited about this idea. Every person we bring into the fold has enthusiastically replied, "Now that's a site/tool I would definitely use." For more information please be ready to sign an NDA upon which you will learn more about the project as well as learn who our team members are (all of who have proven track records). |
