Rails Interactive is a web applications consultancy that specializes in Agile builds using Ruby on Rails. We are well funded through numerous upcoming client projects, including a major sports league.

This is a full-time telecommute position with flexible work hours and a competitive salary. Benefits are dependent upon experience. You will have a great deal of control in shaping the development cycle, hiring new employees, and setting deadlines.

The perfect candidate:

* Knows how to be object oriented in Ruby
* Knows ActiveRecord like the back of their hand
* Knows how to read and write Ruby on Rails plugins
* Eliminates database bottlenecks and knows how to cache
* Has excellent communication and management skills
* Is a Javascript ninja (MooTools knowledge a plus)
* Creates RESTful and consumable controllers
* Has maintained an Ubuntu/Debian server
* Has maintained a Sphinx index
* Uses HAML and SASS
* Has a GitHub account
* Strives for code reuse
* Does this stuff for fun
