We’re a startup in Santa Clara in the early development stages a web based management app in Rails or Catalyst, with some other web 2.0 type stuff layered on top. The project is very well-specified, with a complete PRD. The right person should be able to help with both the HCI and implementation aspects (write to the SOAP API and AJAX front end.) And…we can’t help mentioning it’s just a cool idea, the kind of thing we’ll all be glad exists once it’s launched. The main thing we’re looking for beyond Rails or Catalyst is a good knowledge of AJAX, SOAP and some database driver concepts would be good. This is a quick job for an experienced developer, with further work (or a job) available upon successful completion. We prefer someone in the bay area, but will consider working with someone remotely as well.
