The company

We are a London based Development/Design house specialising in the build of multiple Rails based sites for clients ranging from small starts up to large corporate and well know household retailers.

Due to the expansion of our client portfolio we are looking to expand our technical team consistently over the next year. Currently we seek a Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer.

Duties

As a Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) you will join a small team and work directly with the Technical team lead bringing new ideas to the table on all future development projects. Day to day you will be delivering client projects working either solely or as a part of the team and have the chance to work on the projects from the requirement gathering stage right through to the release of the sites.

Currently we are heavily focused on Agile/TDD methods using Rspec but may be interested in Paired Programming in the future.

We are committed to our staff and can guarantee you will be learning something new everyday… In addition we would hope that candidates that are interested in this opening would like to be or are already active within the Rails/Opensource community.

As a Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer you will need to have 18 months+ commercial Rails experience and a further 3+ years in another development language such as Java, C++, PHP or Perl. As we are currently using TDD (Agile) methods so if you have been working within this environment you will have a huge advantage when applying for this opening.
