The job: Website Development Manager will manage the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing and modifications of consumer-facing applications at YELLOWPAGES.COM. The Website Development Manager will lead the Website Development Team to build innovative products and services for the Consumer line of business.

Responsibilities:
+ Lead multiple projects in the area of web and mobile development.
+ Manage risks and resolve issues associated with product development and delivery.
+ Work with peers to improve the development process.
+ Create development road maps based on business and IT goals.
+ Determine appropriate resource levels and prioritize work for teams.
+ Define and facilitate appropriate levels internal and external communication.
+ Use development experience in evaluating and improving the designs and programs of team members.
+ Work with operations staff in diagnosing and resolving website issues.
+ Perform performance appraisals and coaching to team members.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
+ Develop deep expertise in multiple areas of technology and technology management.
+ Keep abreast of latest technologies and trends.
+ Work in a team environment and be a team player

Required Skills:

+ Minimum of 5 years experience managing software development projects.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience of programming software application.
+ Possess strong leadership and people management skills.
+ Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
+ Experience with Ruby on Rails.
+ Strong skills in project management and process definition.
+ Strong writing skills for producing technical documents and management reports.
+ Strong programming skills for reading, evaluating, and supplementing program code.
+ Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of varying size and scope.
+ Significant experience in analyzing business and technical requirements.
+ Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks with changing priorities.
+ Ability to identify and manage risks as well as drive issues to resolution.
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
