Epocrates is seeking a fast-paced Ruby on Rails developer experienced in creating, maintaining and testing applications. We have built a amazing application using RoR, and need help with testing, extending and refactoring the app as it grows to fit our client's needs. Strong ruby skills are a must for this position. |
| Required Skills: | Strong experience developing in Ruby On Rails framework with operational examples of prior work. Must have exceptional ruby skills. Background in developing for mission-critical production deployments. Operational code published and still in production. Strong experience with MySQL or Oracle databases, MVC, HTML, CSS2, Javascript, AJAX, caching and testing Firm understanding of Test-Driven-Development techniques. In depth understanding of Object Oriented programming. Unix/Linux environment experience Strong analytical and logical thinking capability. |
