You:
* have dabbled in at least two new languages over the past three years, and are confident on two operating systems.
* love reading about what you do in order to improve how you do it (blogs, books, essays).
* have a favourite text editor / IDE (and opinions about why it’s better).
* like the idea of working in a small, non-hierarchical team.
* are comfortable with a modern scripting language (ruby, python, perl, etc.).
* have 2+ years of experience working on commercial or open source projects.
The Job:
We’re open to flexible hours and don’t require your physical presence every day, but we will need to see you during normal business hours at least a few times a week.
Salary:
Remuneration will be commensurate with your abilities, and we’re open to negotiation, but you’ll have to work to convince us that you’re a good match for the position if you’re looking for more than $75k, or you’re worth less than $45k.
