Rails RockStar

Position
Einstein Industries is looking for a Ruby on Rails rockstar to help develop a range of new web applications using RoR, XHTML, DOM manipulation, ECMAScript/JavaScript, XML, CSS, AJAX, MySQL etc.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a small agile team in a solid corporate environment with a passion for pushing the envelope.

Hours, Salary & Benefits
• Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week)

Qualifications
Candidate must also have extensive knowledge of PHP, preferably some experience with Perl & a passion for standards based coding. A high degree of integrity and drive is key. Experience developing CMS driven applications is a big plus. Must have "the right stuff" for creating user interfaces and user experiences, strength at debugging & problem solving and an ability to "own it" by responsibly moving a project forward via independent thinking and creativity. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, build, launch, and maintenance of our front end web applications from the ground up.
• Ensure cross browser functionality, yes, even in IE.
• Work with the product management; identify & define features to be added to the product.

Key Requirements
• Experience creating user centric highly scalable web applications
• 4+ years of web application development
• Background in object oriented development
• Must be familiar with TDD & BDD
• Must be familiar with developing with Edge Rails
