Website redevelopment using RoR, approximately 2-4 weeks work. Implementing new design and new back end features

Desired skills:

Experience with other object - orientated languages is a plus.
Know your way around Adobe Photoshop...

Expert RoR developer (2+ years experience) and good working code examples.
Expert XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
Good knowledge of JS frameworks (prototype, scriptaculous, moo etc.) and good working examples of unobtrusive implementation.
Used to working with 'best practice' methods (test-driven development, version control, continuous integration, unit testing etc.)

Experience deploying and maintaining medium sized Rails projects an absolute must.
Good experience with MySQL, Rake, Capistrano and other gems/libraries.
Experience using Mephisto
Good experience with linux based server administration.

good communication skills

english language (spoken and written)

Experience with other object - orientated languages is a plus (we use borland c++)
