Sr. Software Engineers at CollabNet

Bellevue, United States

With more than 5 million users, Silicon Valley-based CollabNet Inc. is the creator of the most widely used software development tools and services today, including Subversion, TeamForge, ScrumWorks, Agile training, and cloud services. With more than 6,000 customers in 100 countries, CollabNet transforms the way software is developed by simplifying agile development and connecting distributed teams, enabling customers to deliver better products to market in less time.

CollabNet is seeking Ruby developers interested in working on a green-field project with a mature Agile team. We have a unique opportunity – building a new product from scratch – and we want your contribution! Ideal candidates are excited to work in a collaborative, Agile development style with a small and productive team of peers. While Ruby and Rails expertise are ideal, we value aptitude and willingness to learn above all else. Related Java, Python, or similar dynamic or OO experience is sufficient so long as you're eager to learn Ruby.

Requirements

-Ruby developers, especially with Rails

-Knowledge of Ruby and Rails best practices

-Developers who test: unit, integration, and system

-Experience creating dynamic web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for multiple browsers

-Experience creating a REST API

-Experience deploying to production environments

-Experience working on a Scrum team and iterative development

CollabNet's Bellevue group has been doing Scrum and XP practices since 2003. We release to large corporate customers frequently, with a low rate of defects. No pagers, we believe in work-life balance. We take pride in our workmanship and take quality seriously (TDD, continuous integration, cross-functional teams). Come join an award winning team (Jolt Productivity Award, eWEEK's “Product of the Month”) on an exciting opportunity to shape a new product from the ground up.

CollabNet is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
